Top 10 Gifts for Kids
Tried, Tested, and Approved by the Harrell Kiddos
Wee Sprouts Kids Cooking Kit Absolutely adorable and fully functional. My daughter loves taking this kit to her Mimi’s house to help in the kitchen. It’s not an eyesore to keep out either!
Two Sisters Bath Bombs These bombs smell amazing, turn the water vibrant colors, and make the skin super soft. The little squishy surprise inside drives my kids nuts. Their holiday-themed boxes are a great way to make every season a bit more magical.
LCD Writing Tablet Lightweight and great for the diaper bag or car. Even I love writing and drawing on this thing!
Dinosaur Bucket Simple and endless fun. My girls keep coming back to this bucket of dinos, sometimes even in the bath.
Squishmallows Okay, I admit. I was a skeptic. BUT, these turned out to be great pillows and fun stuffed animals. They are one of out our go-to gifts for birthday parties for littles and parents always let me know how much their kids loved them. Costco has amazing prices for the 16” ones – they're big and cuddly, and perfect for your little ones.
Games - Candyland and Go Fish My 5-year-old plays these without any help. It’s become a regular activity that we enjoy together!
Milk Snob Blankets Both of my girls love these blankets as their favorite “lovey.” The material is incredibly soft, and it’s made in the great state of Texas!
Picasso Tiles Infinite building possibilities! Great for my toddler who enjoys playing with them on our fridge. Additional kits are available to keep adding and expanding to your collection.
Ride On Bumble Bee A gift for my 2-year-old's birthday that she still loves at 5. Now an often-fought-over toy – might need to get another for my toddler!
Little Explorer Sofa (Nugget Knock Off) Confession, I initially underestimated its appeal, but it's been a fun addition to our playroom and frankly, I can’t imagine life without it. With plenty of build options, this has been such an amazing addition to our playroom.
So much so, I recently ordered a new cover for a fun change. You do have to be a Sam’s Club member to purchase, but their version is $70 cheaper than the original Nugget.
The Ultimate Curated List for the Ladies
Furry Slippers/Sandals Perfect for those who find regular slippers too hot (like me). A thoughtful gift from a friend and a game-changer.
Lele Sadoughi Headbands Finally, headbands that don’t give me a headache! I get so many compliments from this print and love that it adds a touch of fun to a basic black dress or top.
Ahava Hand Cream Hands down (pun intended) this hand cream is simply the best. The smell is delightful, and it makes dry winter hands soothingly soft.
This is my confession. I have a really hard time justifying the cost of a manicure. From wrangling the littles and pets to using my hands staging, organizing, and decorating … let’s just say even the best gel manicure doesn’t hold up. This kit is well thought out and makes at-home manicures easy. The polish remover pot is my favorite tool, and all their polishes are vegan and cruelty free.
Soma Pajama Pants
I love these pj pants so much – I must own like 9 or 10 pairs. Coming in regular or cropped, they are the most wonderful material and is perfect during pregnancy and postpartum.
Athleta Wristlet Say “goodbye” to heavy bags. This is my go-to, everyday “purse” that fits all the essentials. Small and mighty, I’m able to fit a small wallet, keys, phone, chapstick, small lotion and so much more in this bag.
This is a must for those casual sneaker wearers in your life. I loved a pair of their grand court sneakers and am quickly adding this pair to my wish list.
KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner A make-up artist introduced me to this liner and I haven’t looked back. I love the way this liner allows me to freehand my liner without issue. Even better? It’s vegan and cruelty-free!
Packing Cubes Packing cubes are so very efficient. Now that I have small kids and pack for multiple people, often in the same bag, these cubes keep everything so organized. A small little thing that makes traveling less stressful!
Huggie Earrings I originally ordered a necklace from Caitlyn Minimalist from their Etsy shop several years ago and now order directly from their website. I have a few of their pieces and have gifted several of their pieces. They have great personalization options which make for extra special gifts! I have several ear piercings and these Huggie earrings on are on my Christmas wish list this year.
Santa’s Ultimate Stocking Stuffers
Kids Aviator Sunglasses Is there nothing more adorable than seeing your littles rocking aviators? Perfect to give your kiddos a bit of style while also shading their peepers from the sun.
Kids Thermos Water Bottle I truly don’t know how we have amassed so many cups, but these kid’s water bottles are the most requested by my daughters and come in lots of fun patterns.
Kids Jewelry As my older daughter enters her “fancy era,” I love adding jewelry to her already vibrant outfits. I found these age-appropriate pieces from Target. Perfectly priced and super cute!
Coloring Book These coloring books have pictures drawn with thick marker, making them easier for little hands to color. The pictures are sweet and simple.
Scribble Scrubbies These magical tiny animals can be colored again and again and part of the fun is scrubbing them clean.
The Perfect Bath Time Towels Ok, fellow parents, hear me out. I gave up on kid’s bath towels a long time ago and instead buy fun beach towels for our bath time. The towels are bigger than the smaller kid size ones and it makes bath time more fun for them when they get to be wrapped in a fun towel.
Jellycat Stuffed Animals I love to top our stockings with a cute new lovey hanging out and the Jellycat brand is a personal fav! They’re super soft, come in several different sizes, and are obviously so stinking cute.
Bubble Wand Get a head start on fun spring and summer activities with these bubble wands from Target. You can usually find the singles for $1 … fun and affordable. Count me in!
Tube Puzzles
Perfect for traveling and vacations, these tube puzzles are easy to pack within a suitcase and provide an easy activity for raining days on the road.
Wind Up Bath Toy No batteries required! This simple toy adds so much fun to our bath time.
